Neurix at the European Brain Barriers Meeting

The Neurix team took part in the 27th European Brain Barriers Meeting, held in Bern and hosted by Britta Engelhardt and Chiara Stüdle from the University of Bern. This event gathers leading researchers exploring the complex role of brain barriers in central nervous system (CNS) health and disease.

The meeting was an inspiring platform to share new ideas, strengthen collaborations, and advance our collective understanding of how brain barriers impact neurological function.

During the poster session, Irina Borovko presented the team’s joint work on the BRA-IN-AD project, supported by a Eurostars grant. This collaborative effort aims to create a pre-clinical screening platform to identify the most promising therapeutic candidates for Alzheimer’s disease.

These initiatives reflect Neurix’s commitment to driving translational innovation and bridging the gap between research and patient impact in neurodegenerative diseases.

👏 Congratulations to the entire team and their partners for their inspiring contributions to brain research and CNS innovation!
