The Fondation pour Recherches Médicales develops and maintains close partnerships with key stakeholders in Geneva’s research and innovation ecosystem.

Innovation Center of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG)

The Innovation Center of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) is dedicated to promoting and developing innovation within the hospital environment. It supports staff members in shaping, prototyping, and valorizing innovative ideas and projects, from early ideation through to concrete implementation. The Center provides methodological support, training, rapid prototyping services, and guidance in securing funding and structuring projects. As a key innovation catalyst embedded within one of Switzerland’s leading university hospitals, the Innovation Center helps transform ideas into practical solutions that improve patient care, organizational practices, and the overall patient experience.

FONGIT — Geneva Foundation for Technological Innovation

FONGIT is a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting technology-driven entrepreneurship in Geneva. Supported by the State of Geneva, it helps project leaders transform innovative ideas into successful companies. Its services include specialized coaching, legal and administrative support, thematic workshops, training programs, and access to funding opportunities. With more than 30 years of experience, FONGIT plays a central role in Geneva’s innovation ecosystem by providing start-ups with the resources and expertise needed to accelerate their development and increase their chances of market success.

Research and Grants Office — University of Geneva (UNIGE)

The Research and Grants Office (RGO) of the University of Geneva supports the academic community throughout the entire research project lifecycle. Its mission is to provide conceptual, administrative, and procedural assistance to UNIGE researchers in order to enhance the competitiveness of funding applications, support the development of new research programs, and foster institutional collaborations. The RGO also assists with grant management and represents research teams within various working groups and funding bodies.
