
On September 30, 2025, Prof. Stéphane Sizonenko will deliver his inaugural lecture titled “Reducing the consequences of brain injury in children” at the University of Geneva Faculty of Medicine.
As an Associate Physician in the Department of Woman, Child and Adolescent Health (HUG) and Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics (UNIGE), Prof. Sizonenko’s work focuses on the developing brain and pediatric neuroprotection.
During his lecture, he will discuss the specific nature of brain injuries in developing children, the challenges of neural repair, and the innovative therapeutic strategies that aim to minimize long-term effects. These advancements could significantly improve the lives of affected children and their families.
