
On June 2, 2026, the Fondation pour Recherches Médicales welcomed the BaseLaunch team to La Tulipe for an afternoon dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship, and life sciences.
Initiated by Prof. Karlheinz Krause and Alexandra Richardson, the event brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, and project leaders from across the La Tulipe ecosystem to foster networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration opportunities.
Participants had the opportunity to learn more about BaseLaunch, one of Switzerland’s leading life science incubators and accelerators. Based in Basel, BaseLaunch supports biotech entrepreneurs through strategic coaching, access to a broad network of experts and industry partners, and funding opportunities of up to CHF 500,000 for selected projects.
During the event, Stephan Emmerth, Business Development & Operations at BaseLaunch, shared valuable insights into biotech venture creation, company building, and the resources available to help transform scientific innovations into successful companies.
