In March, La Tulipe had the pleasure of hosting a Lunch Seminar organized by AzureCell, focusing on recent advances in Parkinson’s disease research.
During the event, Dr. Anne-Laure Mahul-Mellier (EPFL) presented her work entitled “Recapitulating Parkinson’s pathology in human iPSC dopaminergic neurons.” The seminar explored the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases and the use of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived models to better understand Parkinson’s pathology.
A recognized expert in protein misfolding, iPSC-derived disease models, and lipid metabolism in Parkinson’s disease, Dr. Mahul-Mellier shared valuable insights and engaged in stimulating discussions with participants.
The Fondation pour Recherches Médicales warmly thanks AzureCell for organizing this event and Dr. Anne-Laure Mahul-Mellier for her inspiring presentation. Scientific gatherings such as this play an important role in fostering knowledge exchange within La Tulipe’s research community.
