Our work on models of developmental brain injury has a strong translational aspect to neuropathology seen in human babies and children. We aim to delineate damage and to test for neuroprotective strategies focusing on preterm and perinatal brain injury, sensori-motor intensive rehabilitation in preclinical model of cerebral palsy and in Sanfilippo neurodegenerative disease.
